About Bath Concepts
BCI Acrylic, short for Bath Concepts Industries, is a bath and shower manufacturer based in Libertyville, Illinois. The company now operates under the Bath Concepts name, and its former website points there. Founder Scott Rosenbach started out as an installer for a local bath remodeler and began making his own materials in a garage before the company was founded in 1999. Its products are made in the USA.
BCI makes acrylic and polymer bath products for remodeling. The line includes bathtubs, shower bases and walls, walk-in tubs, shower enclosures, accessibility products, shower heads and faucets, and accessories, plus a range of colors, patterns and its PuroStone surface line. Bath Planet and Luxury Bath are brands under the same company. The products are designed to go over or replace an existing tub or shower, and many jobs are done in as little as one day.
BCI does not sell directly to homeowners. It works through a network of authorized dealers, and each dealership is independently owned and operated. The local dealer then handles the in-home consultation, design choices and installation, so products, options and timelines can vary by dealer.
Its dealer locator lists authorized Bath Concepts dealers in more than 40 states, from the Pacific Northwest and California to Florida and New England. Coverage still depends on whether a dealer serves a given ZIP code, so homeowners should check the locator for their own address.
